Underlayment is better than felt paper as it has plastics embedded in
the structure. It comes in 2000 SF rolls that are 8 ft long. It may
take two people to install because of the weight but because you cover
so much while rolling it out, you can save about a third of the time it
would take you to roll out felt paper. It's an excellent vapor barrior
and wood slides easily accross it. Over lap the seams and cover the
sub-floor from end to end.
